Sunset Serpent

Rework of a painting I created earlier this year for a collaborative dragon zine ( https://www.instagram.com/dragonsdragonsndragonszine/ )

I really wanted to take the extra time and push this piece further before adding it to my gallery. I find a lot of joy and satisfaction in rendering and pushing my understanding of setting, creature anatomy, light and color, etc, and it just needed the extra hours to get it closer to what I felt happy with.
