Build Your Own Cthulhu

My take and creature design for the “Invent Your Own Cthulhu” LightBoxExpo activity!

What a joy to delve deeply back into creature anatomy and noodle into the intricacies of invented structure and function.
I wanted to showcase a design that felt suitable, functional, and formidable in land, air, and water situations, taking inspiration from various apex predators and animals from all three of those habitat types in my structure, function, and coloration decisions. I am happy with my resulting critter, and look forward to creating more. Any feedback on my work is appreciated as I hone my craft :)
