Sarayu and Nandi

Sarayu and Nandi. Sarayu is the protagonist of Overgrown, a youth who embarks on a trying journey to find their lost sister, Yumana, deep inside the jungle after she does not return from it, or make it to the other side. Nandi is Sarayu's loyal cow companion and pack animal, who embarks with them on the difficult journey that leaves them both changed, forever.

Some key art / concept art for Overgrown, a collaborative vis dev and world building project with Sara Vonogas, Nidhi Naroth, and Eden Barber. I designed Nandi the cow, while Sarayu was a group collaborative effort, with most design work from Nidhi and Eden.
